After logging into your WellReports.com subscriber account, click on our Texas Mapping and GPS Link to locate oil & gas wells in your area of interest.  After entering the API for the subject well, then click on “Identify Well” from the Map Tools pull-down menu. Click on the well location that appears on the close-in map that appears and the Texas Railroad Commission’s well information will appear.  You can even access the subject well’s actual drilling application and permit.  PLUS, you can obtain the subject well’s GIS (lat/long) coordinates for plugging into your mobile navigation device for directions to the wellsite. Zoom in or out on the provided map to locate more pipelines and wells.

With the “still being refined” Railroad Commission’s Enhanced Public GIS Viewer located at http://wwwgisp.rrc.state.tx.us/GISViewer2/

additional layers of information can be selected, such as pipelines etc.  Various map styles are also available, including street and satellite.
